Q. What fitness level do I have
to be, in order to train?
A.
Students are supported to train at a pace that is suitable to each individuals needs.
Q. Will training make me fit?
A.
Fitness will improve as you attend classes and improve your technique.
Q. At what age can I start?
A.
We usually start children at school age but we assess each on their merits
and there are no limits. People have started with us in their
70's.
Q. What experience do I have to have?
A.
No previous experience is necessary, Instructors will advise you which
classes will be most suitable for you to attend.
Q. How big is the Dojo (martial arts training
facility)?
A.
We have over 500 square metres of dedicated training space.
Q. How big are the classes?
A.
An average class would be 10 to 15 persons for most classes there is also an assistant Instructor.
Q. What equipment
do I need?
A.
You will need a uniform which is available from
$50 upwards, they come with our club badge. All training weapons can be
borrowed until you wish to purchase your own.
Useful, but not essential, are our Member's Book and Comprehensive
Martial Arts Dictionary compiled by Jan de Jong Shihan. These are
great tools to assist you with your training. Purchases can be made
from the Perth dojo and certain discounts apply on all levels of
membership. |

Q. How do I start?

Complete an 'application for enrolment' form, and make a booking for your first lesson.
Q. When can I start?
A.
On the same day as enrolment if you wish.
Q. Which classes are best for
me?
A.
We have years of experience to advise you which of our wide range of
classes will be most suitable for you. Just ask us.
